When you click an affiliate link on this site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

These commissions help fund the development and maintenance of the homelab build planner, the parts catalog, and the free homelab planning guides.

Affiliate links on HomelabConfig appear primarily in the system builder "Where to Buy" column and on individual part detail pages. These links route through retailer affiliate programs and are functionally identical to navigating directly to the retailer — the only difference is a tracking parameter that attributes the referral to HomelabConfig.

We do not use hidden redirects or disguise affiliate links as editorial links. If a part page or builder row includes a retailer link, it is an affiliate link unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Affiliate commissions do not influence which parts are included in the HomelabConfig database, how compatibility rules are written, or which products are featured in guides and templates. Part selection is based on technical specifications, availability, and relevance to homelab use cases.

We do not accept payment to feature, promote, or prioritize specific hardware. If a part is listed as incompatible, it is incompatible — regardless of whether it is sold by an affiliate retailer.
